In 2001, I saw my first Shiba Inu, running as fast as she could run by my house in the desert with her owner chasing and cussing her on his ATV.  In that moment, I thought that was the most beautiful dog I had ever seen.  I wanted one from that moment on.  Mind you, they are escape artists and this one was making the most of her escape running by a half mile to our place and beyond to BLM ground. 

 

We absolutely love the breed and are committed to bringing little bundles of Shiba joy to you to be your lifetime companions. We want to educate people about the Shiba Inu breed.

 

We are careful in our breeding program to breed our Shibas for healthy genetics and a mild temperament.  All of our adults are DNA tested for 250+ diseases, including Glaucoma, vet-checked to ensure healthy puppies. We raise our puppies in the house with us and socialize them from the very beginning. We have a doggy door so they can go out back to our 2-acre fenced backyard to run to their heart's content.  A tired dog is a happy dog.

 

All of our breeding adults are dual registered with AKC and APRI.  Our adults are from champion bloodlines.  We are constantly enhancing our kennel for better quality puppies and are now showing our dogs.  All of our adults have been tested for patella luxation, heart conditions, and glaucoma.

 

We provide education and care for your new family member even after they go to your home.  We provide leash training and good nutrition classes along with our "Shibafests".  We have a lot of fun as a community with our past puppies.  We treat all of our dogs as if they were our family members because they are.
